I will admit that mathematics is not by far not my favorite subject of study. But nonetheless, I do not get bored easily. It takes something very, very, very, very, etc. dull to make me want to shoot myself in the foot because I would be more exciting than the present matter.
Anyway, I somehow fell into one of those catatonic states during class today. So instead of spending my time drawing random lines on the back cover of my notebook (I don't have any artistic talent) I decided to meddle around with poetry. I memorized T.S. Eliot's “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” in all its entirety today. If you haven't read it, go do so right now. It's fantastic.
I went through the day in a daze, thinking aout poetry. I'm kind of ashamed to admit this, but I'm really into poetry. I personally wish that people wrote more poetry rather than songs because in modern society, song lyrics are so superficial. It makes me wonder whether if there are any core values in society anymore.

I think that I'll make today's pitch about... mopping.
I'm going to do this considering that as soon as I finish typing this piece, I'm going to mop my floors. Anyway, I really enjoy mopping tiles. I think there is nothing more special than when the sunlight comes through the perfectly clear windows and the white tiles sparkle.
Ah... Just thinking about it makes a happy feeling blossom in my heart.

I really love whales. I think they're gorgeous creatures. My personal favorites are the humpbacks.
I was watching a documentary on them when I should have been studying (and committing to memory) chemistry and physics. Oh well, I think nature outweighs the hypothetical on every point.
Let's protect them, m'kay? If not for yourself, then at least do it for me.

So, even though I'm waiting for the next year of high school to come around, I am still keeping myself academically busy. There are the ups and downs, like evading wasted time by becoming bored via boring material. (I know, it was a paradoxical, oxymoronic statement.) In short: studying for AP exams and filling out college applications. It is really sad that I have to retake the SATs in October and November, and I have the ACT in about a month. Haha, I remember when vacations were actually fun and not excursions to acquire the latest Prineton Review prep book or college hunting. Well, travelling all across the USA is actually kind of fun to visit campuses...

Okay, I think I'll stop rambling now.

Er... Not much to say over on this side of the computer screen. I suppose the most exciting part of my day was that I finished reading "The Count of Monte Cristo"?

Oops. It slipped my mind for a while that I should update you all about my life. I suppose that is what happens when your daily pattern of life goes for a radical change.

Well, the main thing that has been sucking up all of my time is my epic playing of Final Fantasy. I do not know exactly why I decided to embark on this task. I just woke up one morning and started with Final Fantasy 7. I'm on disc 2 of Final Fantasy 9, and hopefully I'll finish it before the week ends.

PS (in conjunction with iklips'c omment) : Yes, this site is dying. And the sad part is, is that I do not have a plan to save it.

POKEMON!
I do not believe that I need to define that word any more. It's essence is just so great that even simple minded fools can begin to fathom its awesomeosity. Yes, I know awesomeosity is not a legitimate word in the English language.

Today, iklips saved a small baby bird. It had fallen from its nest and iklips didn't want it go hungry or die, so he wrapped his hand in plastic and a glove then hoisted the bird back into its nest with its brethren. iklips then got to see the mother bird fly back back and feed all the baby birds.

Also, iklips nearly got his leg crushed by a lawn mower. His father didn't understand that there was no more room to back up as iklips was trying to push the broken down lawn mower out of the way.

That's been the most eventful day iklips has had in a while. Sad...

After a month of constant travel, I am now back in school. I must say that I have missed sitting in classrooms absorbing as much information as possible in the limited time given to each class. Hopefully, this year being my final year in high school, it will be quite the adventure.

You are very welcome, David!

This quite accurately sums up my day: ~TEA~.
I can't believe how many horrible situations I found myself in today.
And because most of them are very personal, I prefer not to elaborate about them.

School is fun. I love the majority of my teachers and even though the material is challenging, I am quite enjoying myself. Probably more that I should... But I think the biggest factor is that I literally know everybody in all my classes. It's nice to be surrounded by people you've known for three or four years.

iklips barely has any free time due to the massive amounts of homework he receives from almost all his classes on a daily basis... his head hurts so much right now, but he can't sleep, there's too much work still left to do...

iklips hate the amount of time he expends on work just so it can renewed again the next week. Why won't it just stop or slow down? iklips is just so tired...
